General Announcements
  •  Jan. 23rd @ 11:00 there is a ground breaking for a new church in Sun Valley at the corner of Pearl and E. 4th any who wish to attend are invited
  • The nursery could use some "new" gently-used toys. Since we've just had such a great Christmas season now would be a great time to clean out your toy boxes and closets. There are a few items we would love to have: Matchbox Cars, Dolls (with clothes!), Doll Clothes, Dress Up Clothes (hats, purses, aprons, etc.), and Nerf-type Balls. If you have any of these items that you are willing to part with please contact Tara Eagleston 223-0749. Thank You! (** please nothing too large in size due to limited closet space**)
  • Help for Haiti - At this time we are aware of only the following way to assist those affected by the earthquake in Haiti " I have been searching the church website for ways we can help the people of Haiti. From my understanding the best thing we can do to provide immediate support is to donate funds for relief efforts. Below is a direct link to an online donation web page.
The following link is an article describing the current relief efforts the church is providing:
http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/news-releases-stories/church-sends-additional-aid-to-haiti-earthquake-victims  donations for relief efforts can be made at http://give.lds.org/emergencyresponse. " Personally I also have some friends who are trying to adopt from Haiti, at this time there are several children from their Orphanage (including their adoptive children) who are missing, prayers on behalf of the missing children would be appreciated.  We will let you know if we hear of additional service opportunities.
  • Jan. 24th is the last practice for choir for the Stake Relief Sociey Activity @ 6:30, for details about where the practice is please contact me and I will fill you in.

Okay, I think that is it, if you have any questions please let me know!  Thanks and have an amazing week!
